He had a great time meeting everybody hes a people person. In addition to his moms friendly disposition, it appears Bennett has also inherited another trait that runs in both his mothers and father Robert Godleys families. [His hair] was quite strawberry blonde when he was born, but its gone more red now, Jane told the mag. Both of our moms have red hair so we think he got that recessive gene! Jane has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the Tina Fey-helmed series, and Jane said shes working hard to shed the leftover pregnancy pounds. Good old-fashioned hard work is the way Im getting rid of the baby weight, she said. Ive been spinning a lot and working out with a personal trainer. Im excited to get into my Emmy dress! As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jane, 42, and her fianc, Robert, welcomed baby Bennett on April 21. Kevin Spacey Searches for the Next Big Thing in First Trailer for Father of Invention
If there’s one simple request I have of Kevin Spacey, it’s that he take one movie off from wearing a suit. Mix it up! Grow your hair out! Wear schlubby clothes! Don’t always be so Kevin Spacey-esque, Kevin Spacey, because it’s become a thing and we’re all tired of it. Which is why the new trailer for the indie comedy Father of Invention seems a step in the right direction. Long prison beard and an everyman’s sense of humility? Bring it on, Spaceman. Spacey stars in the indie comedy as Robert Axle, a formerly slick infomercial king who gets taken down a notch when his latest ab-cruncher/remote control gadget winds up chopping off the fingers of customers, sending him to jail. Once back out, Axle’s must rebuild his life from the ground up, working at a big box store for minimum wage and reconnecting with his grown daughter (Camilla Belle). The official synopsis: Millionaire infomercial guru, Robert Axle (Kevin Spacey) loses everything when one of his inventions has a design flaw that accidentally chops off the fingers of thousands of customers. After serving eight years in prison, a disgraced Axle is released, and ready to redeem his name and rebuild his empire with a new innovation. However, Axle’s ex-wife (Virginia Madsen) has spent all of his money and moved into his house with her new husband (Craig Robinson). Out of desperation, he finds a part-time job as a janitor, and is forced to move in with his estranged daughter (Camilla Belle) and her over-protective roommates. Despite these setbacks he is determined to pitch his newest gadget and rebuild his infomercial empire. But the world has changed in the last decade, and Axle finds himself out of step with current technology, his family, and the self-confidence that made him king of the infomercials in the past. With all his wheels spinning, Axle soon realizes before he can be successful with his new creation, first he must reinvent himself. Yes, it’s all so damn quirky-seeming, in an age when the q word is enough to prompt instantaneous eye-rolling no matter the premise. The font on the poster? Straight outta the post-Juno school of Indie Marketing 101. Director Trent Cooper’s last movie? Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. The last time Spacey played a sympathetic character? Feels like ages ago. Needless to say, there are a lot of hurdles for Father of Invention to overcome, but the cast seems to pull it off with decent aplomb judging from the trailer. And besides: The plot is basically The Beaver minus the crippling manic-depression, the puppet, and Mel Gibson. A winner already? Verdict: In infomercial terms, not Nads-level bad. Not Shake Weight-level brilliant. (But then, what is?) Father of Invention will be released theatrically by Anchor Bay on October 14.

Taylor Lautner's 'Abduction' to Be Lionsgate's First Early-Release VOD Test
NEW YORK - Lionsgate plans to use Taylor Lautner's Abduction for its first early-release VOD test, Bloomberg News reported. The studio will make the film, which hits theaters on Sept. 23, available on VOD three months after its release, according to Bloomberg. Other studios have been using a 60 days window for their early-release trials in the so-called premium VOD window. According to Bloomberg, Abduction will be offered for $6.99 in standard definition and $7.99 in HD, well below the typical early release prices of around $30. Lionsgate is looking to make the movie available to all pay TV VOD providers, as well as the online operations of such retailers as Wal-Mart for about 10 days beginning Dec. 23, ahead of the DVD release in January, the report said. Studios earlier this year launched premium VOD trials with DirecTV. Related Topics Taylor Lautner Lionsgate

Nobody Puts Baby inside a Corner: Let us Cast the Dirty Dancing Reboot
Not so good news, nostalgists: the Dirty Dancing reboot is going on. Worse, it doesn’t even matter who Lionsgate casts within the lead roles (as long as they can, y’know, dance) because the brand itself will sell the film — which you'll likely decide if you need to or otherwise. (For mention of the this phenomenon, see Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough within the lead Footloose remake roles.) Still! Instead of relax right into a ball and pay attention to “(I’ve Had) Time of My Existence” on repeat for the following week to mourn the most recent attempt by Hollywood to scorch our planet of the childhood, why don't you embrace the reboot and help Movieline cast this sucker? Ahead, some casting recommendations for Dirty Dancing. Dianna Agron as Baby (initially performed by Jennifer Gray) Glee doesn't have shortage of Jennifer Gray substitutes — see also Jum Michele, Naya Rivera and Louise Morris — but Agron feels as though the best mixture of attitude, ability, navet and strong-will. Plus, of all of the female cast people on Glee not named Amber Riley, she’s the greatest mystery: Michele, Rivera and Morris have been extended towards the limit on Ryan Murphy’s Fox series Agron still feels as though a family member newcomer towards the audience, however with the additional cache to be on the hit series and identifiable to millions. Presuming Lionsgate doesn’t cast a real unknown within this role — possible — Agron may be the next best factor. Channing Tatum as Johnny (initially performed by Patrick Swayze) Before you decide to break a finger flipping off this suggestion, observe that Ryan Gosling may be the apparent option to play Johnny in a Dirty Dancing reboot not just is he charming, handsome, totally macho in ways that excites both sexes, and great at being unhealthy boy, he is able to also — as Crazy, Stupid, Love. trained everybody — perform the Move. Gosling is fantastic for this. He’s also entirely too famous and entirely too savvy to take on Patrick Swayze’s footwear. As a result, dance-film alum/well known ex-stripper Tatum may be the fall-back, and — for that audience which will line-as much as see Dirty Dancing — a good one. Put him about the poster shirtless which factor opens to $25 million. Zoe Saldana as Cent Manley (initially performed by Cynthia Rhodes) Cent must be physical about the party area and world-weary off it to contrast burgeoning Baby. Saldana can impact each of individuals traits in equal measure, all while keeping dignity and strength when confronted with an unfaithful boyfriend and undesirable pregnancy. Mike Waterston as Dr. Jack Houseman (initially performed by Jerry Orbach) Let’s keep your Law & Order connection alive! Waterston may be a little soft to experience a man who essentially stays the final act of Dirty Dancing in a variety of stages of vexation, but this really is too good to pass through up. Besides, cure is Lionsgate getting with this, Chris Cooper? (They aren’t getting Chris Cooper.) Max Minghella as Robbie Gould (initially performed by Max Cantor) Because of The Social Networking, Max Minghella could most likely play a vaguely unlikeable jerk in movies from now before finish of Facebook. Robbie is really a total skeezeball in Dirty Dancing — the kind of guy who cheats on Baby’s sister, coaxes mediterranean school money using their father, and knocks in the girl he scammed with — and Minghella has got the charms to create that type of jerkface credible like a nice-guy sociopath who could pull double-crosses like this off. Michael Shannon as Max Kellerman (initially performed by Mike Weston) My memory of resort owner Max Kellerman is restricted to noisy suits and gruff, waddling theatrics, but in either case, every movie needs some eccentric character actor in the future set for a couple of days, kill a supporting part, and then leave. Shannon may be too large when Dirty Dancing arrives (see: Guy of Steel), but he’s the perfect type of scene-stealer. Alternate: John Goodman. Patricia Heaton as Marjorie Houseman (initially performed by Kelly Bishop) Fun fact: Kelly Bishop, erstwhile Baby mama and Gilmore Girl matriarch, could most likely still play Marjorie Houseman to great effect — she doesn’t look much different now at 67 than she did at 43 later. Alas, presuming this Dirty Dancing doesn’t invite her back, Patricia Heaton may be the next best factor, especially because she's her very own illustrious career of playing judgmental, but ultimately fair, moms. As you consider individuals suggestions, watch the legendary finale of Dirty Dancing and add your personal cast roster within the comments below.

Weekend Receipts: All Hail Our Monkey Overlords -- Or, How Can You Like Them Bananas?
Well, that forms it — America loves apes! Well, a lot more compared to they love Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman and poop jokes. So let’s welcome our new simian masters and celebrate what a few days ago’s box office amounts mean: A) Apes > everything, B) R-ranked comedies need to go the extra mile, and C) so Harrison Ford and Difficulties if they would like to get back the crown from individuals damn, dirty Smurfs. Your weekend box office is here now! 1. Rise from the Planet from the Apes Gross: $54,000,000 (new) Screens: 3,648 (PSA: $14,803) Days: 1 Similar to last weekend’s surprising Smurfs versus. Cowboys & Aliens shake-up, Fox’s primate reboot demonstrated an unexpected contender, handily beating the R-ranked (and abysmally-examined) star-driven The Modification-Up. Whether from strong person to person — especially where Andy Serkis’s mo-assigned, maybe Oscar-worthy performance was concerned — or even the yearning for any good, old-fashioned summer time action yarn, Rise from the Planet from the Apes exceeded pundit anticipation, raking in $19.75M on Friday alone. Performs this mean the Apes could rise again and effectively reboot a brand new franchise series? Our guess: Fight from the Conquest from the Go back to the earth from the Apes, visiting you in 2013. 2. The Smurfs Gross: $21,000,000 ($76,202,000) Screens: 3,395 (PSA: $6,186) Days: 2 (change: -41.%) Cowboys & Aliens might have won last weekend’s box office with a nose, however the Smurfs got their revenge on Difficulties and Harrison Ford within their second week, tugging ahead within the epic, storied struggle between Smurfkind and Mission Impossible/Indiana Johnson having a $21M showing. Which brings Peyo’s little blue masterpieces to some Smurfy $76.6M domestic cume, in comparison to C&A’s $67.3M. 3. Cowboys & Aliens Gross: $15,748,000 ($67,368,000) Screens: 3,754 (PSA: $4,195) Days: 2 (change: -56.8%) Jon Favreau’s genre-blender experienced the greatest drop from Week 1 — but maybe that’s what you'll get for beheading Papa Smurf on tv (Searching to you, Harrison), just a little box office karma coming back ‘round. Or possibly America wised up and considered Movieline’s handy flow chart, discovering that more streets pointed to seeing The Smurfs. In either case, C&A’s still got the worldwide marketplaces to spread out, and Harrison’s huge in Japan. A round of Kirin Lager beer for everybody! 4. The Modification-Up Gross: $13,502,000 (new) Screens: 2,913 (PSA: $4,635) Days: 1 Permit this to be considered a lesson to Hollywood: Poop jokes and Ryan Reynolds’ abs aren’t enough to spread out a film. Neglecting to open within the summer time of Bridesmaids, The Hangover Part II, and Bad Teacher (while making under 1 / 2 of what Buddies with Benefits did in the first weekend, believe it or not), informs you much. And what’s with using a lot CGI nudity within an R-ranked comedy?? The Modification-Up should appear and disappear just like a blip about the summer time movie schedule, showing that even just in the summer time from the adult comedy movies need to have something to provide. 5. Captain America: The Very First Avenger Gross: $13,000,000 ($143,182,000) Screens: 3,620 (PSA: $3,591) Days: 3 (change: -49.1%) A 49.1% drop from a week ago didn’t help Captain America in the box office competition with fellow Marvel super hero pic Thor (Captain_ arrived just $2.2M under Thor’s week three amounts) but don’t lose belief, America! With $100.3M notched to date, Cap’s foreign allies are obtaining the slack. [Amounts via Box Office Mojo]
ABC Chief Paul Lee: 'We Desired to Make Certain ['Desperate Housewives'] Had its Victory Lap'
ABC Entertainment Group leader Paul Leeconfirmed exactly what the relaxation of the profession has noted for days: the women of Wisteria Lane will bid farewellafter the series' approaching eighth season. "[Desperate Average women] is definitely an legendary show, and we are really happy with it," Lee told a roomful of reporters in the Television Experts Association's Press Tour Sunday. "I decreased to make certain this reveal that put this network into the spotlight, certainly the brand new make of this network going back six or seven years, had its victory lap - coupled with its opportunity to really put down every episode and make an arc because of its 22 episodes to ensure that we're able to say goodbye." STORY: 'Desperate Average women': Season 8 Is Going To Be Its Last Average women creator Marc Cherry, whoserecently passed over pilotHallelujahis being redeveloped at ABC this year, remembered his first lunch with Lee at this time around last summer time. Cherry accepted he was prickly given his respect and desire for Lee's successor Steve McPherson --he'd tell people, "Steve's my guy! Steve's my guy!"--but he was won over by Lee's professionalism. During the period of the meal, the happy couple started talking about an finish for Average women, discussing whether or not they'd do eight or nine seasons. "I simply didn't want that to occur to Desperate Average women. I took it in the classiest possible way.Inch Cherry stated he's begun reaching to his cast, and it has connected using more than 1 / 2 of individuals with who he works. "There is a little shock, although not completely," he stated from the telephone calls. His most tearful conversation included Avoi Longoria, who he amusingly told, "i'm just likely to place you in a van and also have you solve mysteries." Despite early flirtations using the idea, Cherry doesn't have intends to perform a Average women spin-off. To be certain, the near future ofHousewives, which stars Longoria along withTeri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman,Marcia Crossand more recent entryVanessa Williams, have been under consideration for several weeks, as cast salaries along with other production costs have risen when confronted with viewership declines. The lately came to the conclusion seventh season averaged less than 12 million audiences, lower in the nearly 24 million that updated set for season one, based on Nielsen. The serieswill connect its final season having a twisted web of soapy story lines, including Carlos' murder of Gabyevil stepfather and also the hide by Susan, Gaby, Bree and Lynette. Susan will withdraw from her family and buddies Lynette might find her marriagedisintegrate along with a new neighbor, Ben Faulkner, will proceed to town. The ultimate season will even return to the Mary Alice plot point in the show's first season. "I've a concept going back episode by which I wish to pay homage to everybody who's had the experience before and been on the program,Inch Cherry adding, observing that even NicolletteSheridan's Edie character could return.
