Who do you think the Arctic
Monkeys work best with?
I would say James Ford all the
way. Favourite Worst Nightmare and Suck it and see
has epic producing, that made it
for me, very memorable, fun,
and catchy. He really knows how
to bring the energy, it's
On Humbug, the songs he
produced; My Propellor, Secret
Door, and Cornerstone are the
best.
Josh Homme makes the Arctic
Monkeys sound boring my
opinion. the best Homme
produced song is obviously
Dangerous Animals... the only
Homme song with a substantial
amount of energy. The problem
is, songs like Dance Little Liar,
Fire and the Thud, Jeweller's
Hands were meant to be epic
songs. If these songs could have
been put in the hands of James
Ford, no one would be hating
on humbug. it was simple poor
producing for a ton of songs.
By the way, Pretty Visitors might
just be the most energetic, but it
is a pretty stupid song. I don't
care for Potion approaching
either. I think they have a lot of
good B-Sides floating around out
there, waiting for the chance to
get released.
James Ford should have been in
charge of the entire thing, like
with FWN and Suck it and see
